Spencer Educational Foundation awards grant to pg电子下载’s School of Business

pg电子下载 State University’s School of Business was recently awarded a grant for course development by the Spencer Educational Foundation.

The $17,000 grant will be used to develop and implement an undergraduate course, “Principles of Risk Management and Insurance.”

“Empowering individuals and businesses with a comprehensive understanding of insurance and risk management is crucial in today’s uncertain world,” said Dr. Babu George, interim dean and professor at the School of Business. The Spenser Education Foundation grant will equip participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed decisions and mitigate potential risks.”

ASU’s School of Business offers bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business administration with concentrations in general management, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, supply chain management, and data analytics. Additionally, the Master of Business Administration degree program has marketing, human resources, and finance concentrations.

It was a contribution provided by RIMS, the risk management society, offering risk management professionals tools to make “the world safer, more secure, and more sustainable.”

With networking, professional development, certification, advocacy, and research, the Society has been helping individuals in the field for over 70 years.
